K-6 Rotation Day 2



New Announcements for Students:

  • Students - due to safety concerns if you are wearing Heely shoes, the wheels need to be removed at school.  Thank you

  • Lost and Found: There was a pair of black glasses found by the middle school gym and a pair of black  prescription sunglasses found as well. If either of these are yours please come to the office to claim them.

  • Any 7th or 8th grader who had Tech last quarter and would like your Digital Citizenship poster, please see Mrs. Carstens during advisory or lunch today (Friday).  Thanks!

  • The TCU Clay Target Club will have an informational meeting for parents and athletes on Monday, January 22nd at 6:30pm in the TCU High School Choir room.  Athletic letters / pins will be handed out to those who earned them for their achievements during the 2017 season at this meeting.  Coaches will be on site to answer any questions.

  • Steven Strong T-Shirt Orders: Steven Odenthal, a 7th grader at Holy Redeemer School in Montgomery, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. If you are interested in purchasing a T-Shirt (proceeds will go towards Steven’s Medical Costs), order instructions can be picked up at Patti’s desk.  You can find out more about Steven by visiting

  • SNOW WEEK DANCE :  For 7th and 8th grade students is Saturday, February 3rd in Le Center from 7 - 9 pm.  Admission is $5. Formal dress is optional.

  • There was a watch found on bus 4, if it is yours please come to the office to claim it.

  • There were two keys found in the coin jars during the food drive. Please see Mr. Nelson.

  • TCU will be having a grades 5 - 8 Spelling Bee in Le Center on January 31 @ 1:00. The winner will go to the Regional Bee in Mankato on February 20.


Repeat Announcements for Students:

  • Winter-Gear drive

Have your children outgrown their coats or boots and you don't know what to do with them?  Consider donating them to the school for students who have forgotten their winter gear that day.  We are accepting gently used or new snow pants, coats, boots, and heavier type gloves of any size.  If questions, please contact Rachel Fournier ext 8165 or Kira Yoder ext 8137

  • ALL STUDENTS: There are to be no hats worn during the school day and that includes knit hats as well! Thank you!

  • 5-8 Students: There will only be a limit of 2 ala carte items during lunch. You can get multiple items, but only two of the same items.  Too many kids taking 5-6 cookies or ice creams etc. and then there is not enough for everyone.  Thank you

  • K-4 Jump Rope for Heart Kick off assembly in the elementary gym on February 12th at 9:50 to 10:20.

  • All Students: There is to be no food or drink in the link or the classrooms other than water.

  • 7th and 8th grade : Pop is NOT allowed in the lunchroom, and if you are drinking anything from a can to please remember to recycle.
