K-5th Grade Coin War to benefit the Jakes family will run next week, May 1st through May 5th. Students may bring coins to school and use them to “vote” for a special activity. All proceeds will be given to Mary Jakes, a substitute teacher, and her family who lost their home to a fire a few weeks ago.
Starting Monday, April 24 through Friday, April 28 a Coin Drive Challenge for the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will take place. There will be collection jars located in the office and out in the middle school hall during the last 20 minutes of the day where the students can put pennies and dollars to add to their own total and nickels/dimes/quarters to others jars to subtract from their total. Prizes will be given to the classrooms with highest total.
Prize and Cash Donations are being accepted for our year end celebrations. Any families or businesses who would like to donate may drop items off in the school office or send them with students who can turn them in to their teachers. These donations will be used for the K-4th Grade Titan Ticket Drawings and 5th-8th Grade auction & prize raffles. It’s a great way to celebrate the Titan PRIDE that has been shown all year long. A sheet of ideas was sent home with each child and are also available in the office.
