Hello TCU Families and Communities!

My name is Emberlie Tellijohn and I am very excited to be teaching in Kindergarten this year.  This is my 12th year teaching at TCU Le Center, and my first year in Kindergarten.  Along with that I will also be coaching the TCU/LSH Black Diamonds Dance Team.  GO TITANS!  I had spent my previous years teaching School Readiness, ECFE and Parent Education.  I graduated from Le Center High School in 2000 and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-3rd Grade) at Minnesota State Mankato in 2005.  In July 2006 I married my wonderful husband Jeff Tellijohn, a Farmer/Trucker from Le Sueur.  From the years of 2005-2012, I was the owner and operator of Le Centers “LC Steppers” Dance Studio.  After the birth of my 2nd of 3 boys, I decided to retire the dance shoes and close the studio to concentrate on my teaching and my beloved boys. Some of my other interests are playing volleyball, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and biking with my husband and kids.  I pride myself as a very loving and structured teacher.  My main goal as a teacher is to prepare all students for their next steps in education.  It is extremely important for me to create an environment where students LOVE SCHOOL and carry that love of education with them throughout their lives!
