Friday, January 15th is the end of quarter 2/semester 1. Be sure to get all work completed and turned in! 
 

Learning Model Transition Dates:

 

PreK-6th Grade All students in-person model every day

Grades 7-12 Distance Learning

Level 3 Special Education students (7-12) in-person model every day

Grades 9-12 Specific Special Education (coordinated by case managers) and all EL students are in-person for the week of Jan. 11-15 to provide support at the conclusion to the first semester. 

 

January 18th 

No School PK-12: Staff work day/Staff Development Day

 

January 19th and 20th

Grades 7-12 No Distance Learning: Teacher Planning Days

 

January 21st

Grades 7-12 Hybrid Model “B” Day

 

January 22nd

TCU Counseling/Social Work Website and Contact Information

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns! The best way to get in contact with your counselor or social worker is via email or phone. We are also able to schedule Google Meet video calls if you prefer. Please visit our district counseling and social work website to find our contact information, links to our Counselor/Social Work Request Forms, and resources for both parents and students. This website has information on community and educational resources, mental health support, COVID-19, cyberbullying, and student resources by grade level. TCU HS Extended Day Credit Recovery:  Will be held on Mondays & Thursdays for the remainder of the school year from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.  Mr. Kuriger is our Ext Day teacher with the 1 hour of "seat time" being held online with Mr. Kuriger. For those that want to do the paper packets, please let him know.

School Meals Update ----
Fill out your Free Meal Survey (USDA Free Summer Meals Program SFSP)

Tri-City United will continue to offer free meals for area youth ages 1-18. With the change in the TCU learning model, we ask parents/guardians to once again sign-up/update their Free Meal Survey online.

  • If your child is attending class within the school building, their meals will be free, no need to add money to their lunch accounts.
  • Fill out the survey:
    • If you want curbside meal pick-up for your hybrid learner, distance learner, or if your student wants weekend meals.
