TODAY, March 22nd is the end of Quarter 3.
Parking reminder - Students that have assigned spots NEED to park in their spots and NOT in someone else's spot or in the staff lots.
NHS applications are due by 3:00pm today. Please turn into Ms. Winters or Ms. Alberg.
Congratulations to the FFA Crops team on winning the Region 7 competition and advancing to the state contest in April. Team members and individual placing included: Andrew Trnka (1st), Cassie Kadrlik (2nd), Kyle Sladek (3rd) and Mathew Malecha.
Congratulations to the TCU FFA Ag Mechanics team on placing first at the Region 7 competition. The team of Isaac Rynda (2nd), Thomas Budin (3rd), Tim Tiede (8th) and Conrad McCrady out distanced a strong field of 17 schools to advance to the state competition in late April.
ACADEMIC LETTERS - If you weren't able to attend this mornings breakfast, please stop in the office to pick up your certificate.
Students are reminded that they are expected to stay in the Commons during their lunch session & not leave early, pick up after themselves @ one's table when done eating, recycle drained beverage containers (bottles, cans, milk cartons, etc.) whenever possible. Thank you.
Students: If in your Moodle account you show that you have submitted an assignment/quiz in Moodle & it has not shown up yet in your JMC Student Summary for a grade as of yet, please check with your teacher in that course & show him/her when you submitted it. Q3 ends on Friday, March 22nd.
Any student interested in taking an AP Exam please see your counselor by Monday March 25th 2019. The cost for students to take an AP Exam is $94 per test.
Student Artwork: All 2-Dimensional artwork from the Student Art Show is back in the art room waiting to be picked up. Please take artwork home as soon as you are able. Thank you, Mr. Barnack
Attention Juniors & Seniors: We will be offering an ACCUPLACER test for any students who are interested in/planning on attending a 2-year college. This test will take place on Wednesday March 27th 2019 at 12:30pm in the Band room. If you would like to take this test you must stop down in the counseling office to sign up by Friday March 22nd, 2019.

The American Legion is having their Poppy Poster Contest again this year. Stop in the office for more details. Due date is April 1st.
The MN Department of Human Services has launched the Crisis Text Line. The Crisis Text Line offers text-based suicide prevention services across Minnesota. People who text MN to 741741 will be connected with a counselor who will help defuse the crisis and connect the texter to local resources. This line is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Flyers have been hung throughout the school.

Seniors: Make sure you are applying for all scholarships you are eligible for. Many of the local scholarships are open to students going to a 2 or 4 year college. Please check your email for a list of the local scholarships that have been emailed out over the past few weeks. Make sure you meet the deadlines. If you need hard copies stop in the counseling office. Also - Dollars for Scholars has started to post scholarships that match your profile. See Mrs. Barb Turek if you need help with completing your profile.
