  • Help Mrs. Frederickson's Kindergarteners Shoe Away Hunger!

In an effort to show gratitude and giving in the month of November, we will be hosting a shoe drive to help provide food for those in need.

1 pair of good shoes can provide groceries for someone in need for 7 days!

Clean out your closet for a cause!

  • Simply collect your new or gently used footwear including sneakers, casual shoes, winter boots, sandals, and heels.

  • Encourage your friends, relatives and neighbors to do the same.

  • Tie or band (ziplocs work too) them together to avoid “shoe orphans”.

  • Bring your shoes to school to put in our donation box.

  • Please make sure the shoes are in good condition. (Very gently used. No tears or holes. Minor scuffing that can be polished. Light wear and tear on the bottom.)

  • Bad shoes (Lots of damage or scuffs. Tears, holes, or broken heels. Single shoes, Slippers or low-grade flip flops.) end up costing money to get rid of.

Date: November 5th-15th
