New Announcements for Students:

  • We want to get TCU talking about World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, 2019!  How can you help? By wearing CRAZY SOCKS! But not just any socks……wear brightly colored socks, long socks, printed socks, 1 sock… even 3 socks for 3 chromosomes. If you do not normally wear socks, wear them! Wear them to school on March 21st to support Down Syndrome!

  • Timberwolves/Lynx basketball clinic - gr. K - 8   You may still register for the Timberwolves basketball clinic happening Saturday, March 23 with TCU Community Ed. Register online here or bring your registrations to the clinic Saturday. See you there!

  • School Softball Sign up asap,  the first practice will be on 3/25.

  • Swim Club  The next session of TCU Community Ed. Swim Club starts March 26!  Register here!

  • Community Ed summer ball registrations will open online March 29. Our Summer Rec Catalogs will be mailed that day also.

  • Child Abuse Awareness program:  Tuesday, April 9 1-1:45 for grades 6-8; 2-2:30 pm for grades 1,2, and 4 in the auditorium.

  • Gustie Volleyball Summer Camps: Information for K-8 Summer Volleyball Camps at Gustavus are available in the office. Stop in to get a flyer!

  • Art shows will be at the Montgomery Arts & Heritage Center on Main Street.

More info will come with the times the Heritage center is open for families to visit.

Elementary School (K-4):  Opening Reception: Thurs March 21 4:00 - 6:30pm -   Show: Thurs March 21 - April 13

Middle School (5-8): Opening Reception: Thurs. April 25  4:00 - 6:30pm -    Show: Thurs April 25 - May 11

  • 8th Grade: Distracted Driving Slogan / Art Contest - Each school in LeSueur County will have the opportunity to participate in this contest.  It will allow 8th grade students the opportunity to raise awareness concerning Distracted Driving.  Each student that chooses to participate will create their own creative artwork/slogan on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet of white paper which will then be screen printed for local establishments. Deadline is March 29th. Flyers will be in the office.

  • American Legion Poppy Poster Contest for 6th - 8th Grades:

The American Legion Auxiliary invites you to participate in a contest that shows respect to the national symbol of our Veterans, the Poppy, and honors those proud Americans that served our country.  These are due on April 1.

  • Track and Field Day will be on May 3rd.  Make up day will be Monday, May 6th.

Winter reminder: Please remember to be dressing for the weather, we do go out for recess everyday unless it is raining or below zero degrees.

  • To support our college-going culture, we invite all students and staff to show off their favorite college apparel EVERY WEDNESDAY for the rest of the school year!

  • Just a reminder that students should not be wearing their coat/jacket during the school day. No hats or hood during the school day, other than on hat day.

  • Reminder that when you fill out the hall pass that you use your first and last name. Thank you.
