New Announcements for Students:

Giving Tree: Our K-6 PBIS has set up two “giving trees” in our building. One tree is in the elementary library and one is in the middle school media center. We are asking students who would like to participate to bring in gloves, hats, or mittens to put on the trees. We will be collecting them now through December 21st. The donated gloves, hats, and mittens will be given to children who don’t have these winter items.

Repeat Announcements for Students:

  • Swimming for Mr. Schmiesing's K-8 Physical Education classes will begin on December 10th and go through January 11th.  Come prepared on days you have PE with swimsuit, towel and plastic bag.

  • Winter sport registration is now OPEN!  If you are interested in participating in Boys/Girls Basketball, Weightlifting or Wrestling, please register online thru the TCU website under the Activities tab.  Please contact the Activities Office with any questions at 507-364-8118. Thanks!

  • Gustavus Volleyball Winter Clinic: Flyers are in the office for students interested in attending a Volleyball Winter Clinic at Gustavus. Lil’ Gusties- Grades K-5 and Middle Gusties- Grades 6-8. Date: December 2nd.

  • To support our college-going culture, we invite all students and staff to show off their favorite college apparel EVERY WEDNESDAY for the rest of the school year!

Community Ed:

TCU Community Ed is looking for a volunteer coach for the upcoming Special Olympics Poly Hockey season. (floor hockey). We do have an assistant coach in place. Please contact Mary Simon if you are interested. 507.364.8110.

Season info:  Poly hockey (also known as floor hockey) is adapted from the game

of ice hockey and played indoors on a gymnasium floor. Teams are

made up of six players, including a goalie. Athletes use plastic sticks

and soft plastic pucks. All equipment and Titan Special Olympics team

shirt included.
