School Closing and Severe Weather Guidelines
When severe weather is forecasted for the Tri-City United area, the Superintendent and the Transportation Manager work together to monitor the weather conditions, from several sources, that affect our school districts roads and visibility. Both the Superintendent and Transportation Manager use the information they have gathered to make the safest decision for the TCU children. The decision to cancel or shorten the school day is started as soon as severe weather conditions become imminent.
