Hello, I'm Mrs. Costello, the middle school band teacher!  I've been living in Minnesota for two years now, but I am still a big Packers fan as I had spent my whole life in Wisconsin.  I grew up in a small town and attended school at St. Norbert College.  Previously I taught beginning band and orchestra in Green Bay, as well as high school band and string orchestra in Beaver Dam.  Currently I am in my 8th year as a teacher.  My main instruments are clarinet, saxophone and piano.  I think it's important to practice what you preach - literally!  I still perform and rehearse in adult ensembles.  I have performed with the St. Norbert Community band, was principal clarinetist for Beaver Dam Area Orchestra and am currently performing with the Eden Prairie Community Band.

This summer I started working towards my Master's in Music Education through the American Band College with Central Washington University.  This summer, and the next two summers I will travel out to Oregon for an intensive three week program, followed up with projects and studying throughout the year.  We worked with world renowned clinicians, rehearsed with famous composers and directors, and performed with amazing professional soloists.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Patrick, as well as my sister and brother-in-law.  Patrick and I enjoy spending time outside, playing sports and lawn games, canoeing and camping.  We also are busy with our dog named Mozart and our cat named Beau.

I travel between buildings every day, the best way to get ahold of me is through email:
