Generally speaking, there is no "set" HS supply list as we offer over 100 courses at the HS level and many courses will have course specific items that may be needed.  I would suggest a colored folder and the same colored notebook for each of one’s courses; thus, a different color for each course. This will make it easier to bring the correct folder and notebook to the correct class.  Some students also like to use just a large 3-ring binder or “trapper keeper” to keep all of their course notes, assignments, etc. in. With our 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative for grades 9, 10, & 11 and with many courses having gone to Moodle to upload e-assignments over the past few years, less paper is being used in the classroom setting.  Each student also has his/her student TCU Google account with Google Drive-Docs/Sheets/Slides, to create, store, & share his/her documents with group members and teachers.

You are welcome to look online <> at last year's teacher websites and pages to get a more specific list of needed supplies for that specific course.

Supplies like pencils, mechanical pencils, pens, highlighters, note cards, flash drives (less of a need if Google Drive-Docs/Sheets/Slides are being used) are all items that our TCU students will be using on a regular & consistent basis.

Our math courses do require a Texas Instruments graphing calculator (TI-83 or TI-84); there are now apps that can also be used on a Smartphone/e-device/tablet that may also suffice, but for exams/quizzes/tests, Smartphones/e-devices/tablets cannot be used as the Internet can be accessed very quickly.

Just a reminder about the Monday, August 6th grades 7-12 MSHSL & TCU Eligibility / Rules Meeting @ 7 PM @ TCU HS.  This is a required meeting for all TCU athletes and their parents/guardians.  Connect with Mr. Chad Johnson, new TCU 7-12 Activities Director with questions at or 507.364.8115.

We look forward to a great start to the 2018-19 school year!

Thank you.

Alan Fitterer, TCU HS Principal
