Hello TCU Montgomery PK-8 Families!
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself to you as principal at TCU Montgomery PK-8. This year marks the beginning of my eighteenth year in education. I have been a second and third grade teacher, an instructional coach, a district Q-Comp Coordinator as well as a dean of students. I am grateful for all of these experiences that have so richly impacted my deep passion for teaching, learning and leadership. It is my privilege to work with and serve the students, staff and families of TCU Montgomery.
My education includes a degree in elementary education from Drake University, a Masters in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary’s University as well as a specialist degree and K-12 principal licensure from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
My goal is to create a caring and positive school culture built on trust and respect. I believe in working together to ensure the highest quality learning experiences for all students and to meet the needs of each student as an individual. I commit to supporting staff and students to be their best and to achieve their dreams.
I live in Savage with my husband, John, and two children, Molly (8) and Evan (5). We enjoy fishing, bike riding, traveling, visiting with family and spending time enjoying lake life in Hayward, Wisconsin.
At TCU, our mission is: To Empower Learners, Create Opportunities, and be United for Success. I believe that all of us, working together, can and will achieve this mission.
Please feel free to contact me at any time. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year at TCU Montgomery PK-8!
