                                        Welcome to TCU Montgomery!
Welcome to Tri-City United Schools Montgomery Elementary / Middle School and thank you for visiting our website! I am extremely excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year! I am honored to be the PreK-8 principal for the Montgomery site and look forward to meeting and working with you and your children.

My career in education spans over thirty years with twenty years as a classroom teacher and the past thirteen years as an administrator. I am a former Montgomery-Lonsdale High School graduate; so I am thrilled to be able to work within the community in which I was educated and to be part of the TCU School District!

In my role as principal, I am committed to ensure that students learn in a safe and supportive environment where learning is fun and exciting! I believe that education is a partnership between the school and the home so that together we can ensure that your child's educational journey is a success.

I welcome your active participation in your child's education. One of the most important tasks here at TCU: Montgomery Pre-K-8 is to make our students lifelong learners. We want them to see education as a never-ending process - a goal that is never completely achieved and a task that contains its own rewards. Working together with you, parents and community members, we hope to guide and inspire the children attending our schools to be curious, persistent, and confident. Together we will start them on the first steps of the continual journey of education. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a school community that provides students with the highest academic standards, celebrates diversity and the individuality of learning styles and needs, and believes that all of this learning should occur in a caring, respectful, and safe environment. As our children proceed through their elementary and middle school years, we are forging relationships/partnerships that will serve them for a lifetime. Let's work together diligently to provide strong academic connections between adults and students, visible connections between school and home, and caring connections between the school and communities. The children we share will eagerly learn from what they see!
