Public Announcement

TCU Montgomery Indoor Pool suspended until Phase III of the ‘Stay Safe MN’ Plan

The Tri-City United School District is saddened to report that the TCU Montgomery Indoor Pool will be closed for the month of June due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At the recommendation of Governor Tim Walz and the MN Department of Health, it has been determined to be unsafe to the community to open the pool at this time. We will continue to monitor the pool opening under Governor Tim Walz’s ‘Stay Safe MN’ Plan to determine the possibility of opening in July.

Connect with TCU Counselors and Social Workers

Welcome to Tri-City United Le Center Pre K-8 School!

TCU Le Center PreK-8 Principal
Brian Grensteiner
507.364.6802 ext. 3000

Hello Tri-City United parents/guardians, students, and community members! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself, as well as, my family to all of you and share my excitement for meeting and working with each one of you as TCU-Le Center’s Pre K-8 principal. Prior to the past 5 years as TCU- Le Center's principal, I was a middle/high school social studies teacher and coach for 10 years at New Prague School District. It was there that I met and married my beautiful wife, Jillian (Tikalsky).  We have been married for 9 years and have 3 wonderful children, Louis (7), Jaycie (5), and Owen (2).  Jillian is currently a special education teacher at an Elementary School in New Prague.  Needless to say, we are very busy with our young family and all of the many things we are involved in.  Our family enjoys listening to music, being active in the outdoors, attending sporting and fine art events, and spending time with our friends, neighbors, and family members. We as a family are very excited to be a part of the TCU family!

As the principal of TCU-Le Center’s Pre K-8 school, I am committed to furthering our district’s mission to empower learners, create opportunities, and unite so that all involved can succeed.  We are a collaborative community that is committed to ALL students achieving high levels of learning in a safe and positive environment. I am a strong believer in building positive inter-personal relationships, working as a collaborative member of a team, and above all, doing what is best for our scholars.  We offer a Balanced Literacy approach to reading, infuse technology within our core curriculum and exploratory courses, offer STEM, flex-seating and personalized learning opportunities, provide differentiated intervention supports, and have created a positive school culture through our PBIS Titan PRIDE program.  I look forward to working in partnership with your family to ensure your student has a high quality educational experience and access to resources that will foster his/her personal, social, and academic growth.

Please do not hesitate to contact me throughout the year at:
507-357-6802 ext. 3000 or
if there is anything I can do to help.

Go Titans!
